Click for Directions to Retreat House. ________________________________________________________________________________ Connections: a Retreat for 1st-Year Students Scheduled in the Fall, this overnight retreat is held to aid in the transition to college life. International Service Program (ISP) Retreat Held in September for students who traveled to abroad for service the previous summer. Held in the beginning of second semester for those students and their chaperones doing service the following summer through the ISP program. A retreat that endeavors to help students answer the following questions: Who am I? What does it mean to be a Christian? How do I deal with conflict? As a collaborative effort with Career Services, this retreat helps sophomores and juniors to define their values and link them to a possible career. Specifically for members of the Senior Class, this retreat tries to help answer the question: Where do I go from here? A social-justice retreat with the interwoven themes of “heart, mind and soul”. Social justice education, plus the opportunity for service! Ignatian 3– and 5-day Silent Retreat Offered for all students as a chance to find grace when we grant ourselves the gift of silence. A weekend specifically designed for the spirituality of male students. Offered for those longing to see God’s presence in the beauty of all that surrounds us. For any student who has done a Search, Kairos, Emmaus, Antioch or similar retreat in high school or college. This is an opportunity to explore and experience various ways of praying. A short presentation will be given on different methods of prayer and then you will be given the opportunity to experience the various ways of praying. Liturgical/Music Ministers Retreat An overnight experience for those students who serve the university faith community as lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, cantors, and ministers of hospitality. |
