In this study fifty females were rated on a basis of attractiveness. From those fifty the ten highest and the ten lowest rated females were studied. They would go to a bar and they were recorded with the number of approaches they received during the night. The women rated highest were viewed as being talked to/approached more often than the women who received low ratings. I liked this study more than the other because of the fact that this is a real life scenario in which many cases it can be proven. It also shows just how important someone’s physical features pertaining to popularity and sociability.
