This study showed the effects of a change in caffeine levels in the body following treatment for a spider phobia. The purpose of the study was to see if the change in caffeine affected progress after treatment but before follow ups. The return of fear often occurs in that period before follow up and after treatment.

I thought this study was relevant because it discussed the effect of caffeine on the return of fear. So many people ingest caffeine on a daily basis that it was interesting to see research done on something seemingly so normal but that can actually affect the progress of a treated phobic.
