Hospice Care

Hospice…

A final gift for someone you love.

What is Hospice?

Hospice is a program designed for the terminally ill person and their care giving families. Respect for human life is the ethic behind hospice. Even at life's end, when medical treatment is no longer appropriate, heath care professionals can enhance the patients quality of life and provide support to their loved ones.
The focus of the hospice program is to provide care for the terminally ill patients at home. However, there are times when patients require inpatient care. Both can be done to help the patient and their families experience the last days of their lives as a pleasant one.
