"The page title is taken from Der Blaue Reiter (German for "The Blue Rider") was an art movement started in Europe just after the turn of the century. The artists who took part were considered to be the pioneers of abstract art, and their work was characterized by exuberant color and profoundly felt emotionalism. Coming from a number of European countries, the painters, writers, and poets, and composers who joined the Blue Rider dedicated themselves to the search for a common spiritual basis in a new international culture."

I began creating this page while I was taking a HTML Seminar taught by Tom Hughes at AMH-Computing labs here at the University of Scranton. Ever since, I'm convinced, a web page is never really completed.
About myself, you'll soon be able to see a photo of me in "Photos of my friends ", a spot I reserved on a gallery link for friends. I like art and music with an equal interest in both , and for a while I was an videophile in an extreme way. I must of watched at least 100 foreign films or maybe it was 99. It was getting to the point I missed seeing yellow subtitles where none existed. Now, I settle for Deutsche Welle T.V. or DW out of Germany. If you subscribe to Adelphia you can find this channel up on 34 after midnite Eastern Standard Time. For further information about DW check out the link to : Home page for Ingo Schmoll. Alice is an interesting cultural magazine featured on D.W. as well. Also look at the link for the Home Film Festival located on Linden Street in Scranton for information about foreign and American films found in the Links Gallery.
I have subdived my page into galleries, eight at this point, from photos of my friends, to colorful post cards and a gallery having several search engines just in case you as the visitor would like to look something up. I appreciate your comments if you care to e-mail them and ofcourse, don't hesitate to send me a post card.

"A furious storm of snow and sleet had been raging for some hours, constantly increasing in violence, till the staunch house shook on its solid foundations, and the sturdy old walnut beside it seemed to cry out in pain and dismay, as its limbs were twisted and tortured and broken by the cruel nor'easter."
"While thus on exhibition, one of the pretty parrakeetes having, it may be, her little head turned by excitement, was seized by sudden vertigo or fit, staggered, and tumbled forward on her beak, then went ploughing over the carpet, round and round, in a most distressing way. But I am sorry to say that those superior creatures, the parrots, showed no alarm at this small epileptic attack, and no joy at the recovery of the sufferer. While it fluttered most wildly about, head down and tail up, Madame betrayed, (the female parrot) perhaps, a mild interest;p but Monsieur (the male parrot) whistled coolly on.
"What was Hecuba to him, or he to Hecuba,
That he should weep for her?"
