Pride, Passion, Promise, PARADE Day 2008

Ever dream about being in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Scranton? Ever aspire to represent your Alma Mater on Parade Day? Consider yourself lucky this St. Patrick's Day, because The University of Scranton is sponsoring a float in this year’s parade!

Volunteer now to join the team that will design, construct, and enter the float in this year’s parade on 15 March 2008. We need enthusiastic individuals with dedication and Scranton pride to take part in this historic event.

We invite all students to be a part of the University's endeavor in building a float for the 2008 St. Patrick's Day Parade. We ask all volunteers to commit to the following expectations:
  • I will give of my time and talents.

  • I will be a role model and represent the University in the best way possible.

  • I will offer my sincere enthusiasm for this endeavor.

  • I will promise to be alcohol and drug free during the building process and during the University of Scranton's related events on Parade Day 2008.

  • I will be optimistic and offer positive energy.

  • I will express my love for community and will embrace the families, community members, students, and many guests that will be attending the 2008 St. Patrick’s Day parade.

  • I will offer my dedication and a hard work ethic.

  • I will show my love of The University of Scranton in all aspects of this project. Go Royals!
