The Mu Omicron chapter was installed at The University of Scranton in 1980. We have an active chapter. The chapter has sponsored activities ranging from faculty-student softball games to a literary magazine at the Howard Gardner School. This year we are revising the advising manual created by the Mu Omicron Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta for English and Theatre majors. Our successful faculty led film and discussion series continues, with great reviews by all who participate. Membership in this organization thus opens a number of possibilities for involvement on our campus and our community. Furthermore, members may also submit their written work to the Rectangle, and to the Sigma Tau Delta Review the society’s international publications. They may apply for scholarships, awards, grants and internships, present work at the annual international convention, and, most especially, they will be part of a community which values literature. We hope you will take the opportunity to apply. Some of the many member achievements of the Mu Omicron Chapter. Archives of previous years activities and news.
