Welcome to the University of Scranton Student Chapter of Society for Human Resource Management

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the leading voice of the human resource profession, representing the interests of more than 80,000 professional and student members from around the world.  SHRM provides its members with the education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation and publications that equip human resource professionals for their roles as leaders and decision makers within their organizations.

The University of Scranton SHRM Student Chapter was founded in 1994.  Since this time we have been actively involved with SHRM National and Northeast Pennsylvania SHRM.  Our chapter was one of the top student chapters receiving the 1998-1999 Superior Merit Award.  In addition, we have also recently received another Superior Merit Award for the 2002-2003 year thanks to the hard work and effort invested by its members and chapter advisor, Dr. William Wallick, SPHR.
