Rules and regulations
Tryouts will be held the second full week of classes in the fall semester. Date, time, and location will be announced during the first week. Below are some basic guidelines and a mock schedule of the tryouts.
Guidelines for Tryouts
- Ability to perform: double pirouettes, regular leaps, leaps in second, switch leaps, calypsos, c-jumps, overall flexibility, and jazz and hip hop dance experiences
- Learn 3 short routines: jazz, hip hop and kickline
- Wear comfortable clothes that are conducive for each style of dance

Mock Schedule
- 1st Night
- Warm-up and attempt technical skills across the floor
- Learn each 30 second routine
- 2nd Night
- Come back in groups of 3-5 and perform technical skills as well as routines
- You will be evaluated on your technique, memory, and performance ability
- 3rd Day
- Final list posted on the aerobics room door with your tryout number
