1. Introductions

2. Tessa Kelley – Director of Communications for Student Government came to speak to us

-goals – promote school spirit, attendance at games

-Ideas:

                                    ~incorporate other activities and clubs

                                    ~Activity Board in caf

                                    ~Mascot

                                    ~Food/Drinks at games

                              ~Games during half-time w/ prizes

                              ~Raffle tickets for Scranton apparel, I-pod, etc.

                              ~Having Student Government get involved for big rivals

                              ~U of S Athletics screen name w/ away message updates about what’s going on that day

                              ~Spirit Club

                  -more suggestions email kelleyt2@scranton.edu

3. President Cabinet Update (Kelly Lewandowski)

-new building plans – if interested in helping w/ building ideas email caseyj2@scranton.edu

-Intersession – possibly doing away with it

-Katrina Relief – Dance-a-thon, service trips

-Spring break

-Next meeting – Oct. 25^th – suggestions for that meeting to Kelly Lewandowski

4. PAL Update

-many have sent emails and not gotten responses

-BBQ at a game and invite all the frosh so we can meet

5. Hurricane Katrina

-donating money that would have been spent on T-shirts

-$ needed more than clothing

-symbol on T-shirt showing support

6. No update on Royal Card access

7. Mascot update (Drew)

-tryouts at a real game

-Iggy to make debut at Drew game on Saturday

-federal work study

-MAC SAAC meeting – volunteers to go?
