2. President’s Cabinet
-Student-Athlete Rep on the Cabinet – Kelly Lewandowski
-Opened the floor for suggestions/items for the next Cabinet meeting
3. Royal Card Access to Byron/Long Center
-Currently working on Banner-Network Resources interface in order to get access for all athletes while buildings are open. This project is still pending but should be done in the next few weeks.

Faculty
-each team should choose a faculty rep and let Brenda know
5. New Mascot unveiling
-Drew modeled our new mascot
-we will be holding auditions for the mascot
-we briefly discussed making the mascot a work study job
-people interested in being judges for auditions should contact Drew Davis at davisa4@uofs.edu
6. Official Athletic Dept. T-shirts
-need a new design
-suggestions: white t-shirt, solid
black S on back,
7. MAC SAAC
-Patrick gave an update on the MAC SAAC
-first meeting will be Sept. 23rd
-opened the floor for agenda items for that meeting
8. PAL Program
-Kelly explained the PAL program where upperclass student athletes act as mentors for freshmen
-upperclassmen and freshmen have been matched up
-email will be going out shortly with the list
-duties of mentor– contact freshmen, introduce yourself, attend a game or 2
-email Kelly if still interested in being a mentor at lewandowskk2@uofs.edu
9. Hurricane Katrina Relief – Athlete Response
-we discussed possible ideas for hurricane relief efforts
-collections @ games
-T-shirt donations
10. Student Government Initiatives
-Drew Davis gave an update on Student Government initiatives
-contact Drew w/ suggestions
-anyone is welcome to come to the
meeting at
-we discussed student-athlete representation on the Student Senate
