Phi Epsilon Kappa?

Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity is a national professional fraternity for persons engaged in or pursuing careers in health, physical education, recreation, or safety. Membership is open to persons interested in the purposes of the Fraternity and in providing time and energy for the benefit of the areas which include: physical education, health, recreation, dance, human performance, exercise science, sports medicine and sports management.

The University of Scranton's Chapter Name is Zeta Gamma.

Requirements

  • Must be in at least your Junior status as an exercise science student and making progress toward your degree.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 in Exercise Science Courses.

Application Information

  • You must attain a written application from the folder in the Exercise Science Department Office and submit it by Friday, February 27, 2009 to Dr. Stylianides. Any applications returned past this date WILL NOT be accepted.
  • Submit proof of meeting academic requirements from the registrar.
  • Newly accepted members will receive a notification letter in March. A membership form with undergraduate dues and initiation fee of $45 will be collected.
  • An induction ceremony and dinner will take place in April
