The Fall NARACES Conference will be held October 5, 6 & 7, 2001 at the University Conference Center at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Our theme, “Creativity: the Living Edge in Counselor Education and Supervision” is designed to encourage presenters to “think outside the box” about counselor education and supervision.

The Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts will be beautiful at that time of year, as it is the peak foliage weekend. The accommodations at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst are comfortable and reasonable ($65 single, $75 double, with no added taxes). The Paradise City Arts Festival, a juried arts and crafts fair, is in Northampton that weekend, along with many cultural and entertainment activities. There are many fine restaurants available in both Northampton and Amherst. The area is accessible by major highways, or via Amtrak to Amherst or Springfield, and through Bradley International Airport in Hartford/Springfield. Ground transportation is available.
Please submit programs by May 20th to: Don Haight, Plattsburgh State University, 101 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901
