Is kind and competent

Is flexible in her attitudes

Focuses on the child’s feeling rather than

The rigid rules

Demonstrates maturity.

Evokes on guilt in children

Accepts, appreciates every child

Offers emotional first-aid

Avoids cold logic, false assurances

Shows respect and confers dignity on children

Has good humor

Shows sensitivity

Is solution –oriented….

To help them explore and learn a teacher must be sensitive to two things about child:

Students’ learning should be based on their developmental level.
Students’ learning should be based on the way they are naturally inclined to learn, on their natural course of conceptual le arning.

Teacher should remember that children by nature are very curious. They are eager to know and learn. So we must encourage and motivate them to learn and explore. We must create an atmosphere in which the self-concept may be enhanced is one in which the child can make an error and not lose face, one in which each child can participate and be a leader.

The true aim of everyone who aspires to be a teacher should be, not to impart his own opinions but to kindle minds.
