The University of Scranton Royal Network Movie Channel is part of the Royal Cable Television Network. The purpose of the Movie Channel is to provide free access to feature films to the University community.

Each month ten different selections are brought in to be played on the Movie Channel. There is a little something for everyone in the selections that are chosen. Some are classics, some are special interest, some are foreign, but most of the films are new releases to the video market. The Movie Channel also provides a forum for which students in the communication department may air their projects. For instance, RNN has been a staple of campus television for several years and each day during the semester RNN is run on the Movie Channel. Other television shows created by students may also be run at least once a day (depending on the TV projects being done).
