The University recently activated a new emergency notification system, called Connect-ED, where students, faculty, staff, and even family members can receive information and notifications about emergencies, school closings and delays via email, text message and phone calls.

E-mail addresses are automatically registered, but visit My.Scranton.edu to verify and update other pieces of contact information.

“In total, students, faculty and staff can register up to three numbers to receive voice and text messages, and up to two additional email accounts,” Gerald Zaboski, vice president of alumni and public relations, wrote in an e-mail to The University community.
