Current Members	National Alpha Lambda Delta - Honor Society for First Year College Students Recognizing Excellence, Co ntinuing Tradition, Preserving Integrity "The mission of the Association of College Honor Societies is to build a visibly cohesive community of national and international honor societies that exhibit excellence in scholarship, service, programs, and governance." Alpha Lambda Delta has been a member of the Association of College Honor Societies since 1939. Alpha Lambda Delta was founded in 1924 at the University of Illinois. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious honor societies in the nation.
