This course will be first offered in the Spring 2004 semester. It will be team taught with Dr. Marian Farrell of the Nursing Department. Unlike any other course at the University and probably in the country, this course will focus on health issues of young adult males, including cultural, emotional, and economic issues affecting men’s health. Such issues as medical care, mental health, risk of disease, violence, nutrition, AIDS, and addiction will be discussed. Both biological aspects and psychological aspects of health will be addressed in the course.
