Student Advisement

Students in the department are the recipients of bother mentoring and advising. The College of Professional Studies (CPS) Advising Center is located on the first floor of McGurrin Hall. All students have the opportunity to meet with professional academic advisors who assist the student in all areas of there academic development. The staff of the CSP Advising Center coordinates all advising for all aspects of the CHS student's needs. In addition, each student has the opportunity of working with a CHS faculty in a mentoring relationship through their entire CHS program.

The Dexter Hanley College (DHC) which services the needs of the adult learner. As a Dexter Hanley student you are a member of the entire University of Scranton community with student services catered specifically for the busy adult by providing opportunities such as priority registration, extended advising hours and opportunities to gain academic credit for your life experience. At Dexter Hanley College you will receive a superior education - one that also takes advantage of the wealth of knowledge and expertise you bring to the learning experience and one that will enhance your abilities to achieve your goals, whether professional or personal. Dexter Hanley students also may meet with Dr. Jacob in the CHS department who approves course registration for each semester.
