(single occupancy may be possible) with Mexican family.
University of Scranton Intersession tuition at 1/3 the normal
price of $758 per credit, is additional. The total tuition charge, then, is $758,
for 3 credits.It will be billed in the normal way by the Bursar's office.

The trip includes:
* Possibility of a group trip to Mexico City, the second weekend, subject to availability.
Visits to other regional tourist attractions (the artistic colony of Tlaquepaque, the artisan and market town of Tonalá, Lake Chapala, etc.) may be arranged.
Payment Deadlines:October 3, 2007 ($300. deposit)
November 9, 2007 (Full Payment, balance of $1900)
Academic Credit: This study/tour is an academic course. Students register for and earn six credits, three in Spanish (for Intersession) and three in Political Science (for Spring semester). The courses are approved for academic credit in the Humanities and Social Sciences areas (or in the free area) of the general education curriculum. They also have Cultural Diversity credit. All academic requirements, including completion of assignments, attendance and participation in classes both at UNIVA in Guadalajara and the University of Scranton, must be completed satisfactorily to ensure credit for the courses.
Note: Current enrollment in Intermediate Spanish (or a higher level) or the equivalent is an absolute prerequisite for this course. Recommended prerequisite is current enrollment in Spanish Conversation (SPAN 311) or higher.
