This Week in Mathematics

The Mathematics Club has a Bi-weekly Puzzle each Wednesday with a solution the following week.

Birthdays and Biographies is a link to "Mathematicians of the Day" at the MacTutor History Project at the University of St. Andrews. This site contains a collection of pages about the history of mathematics, including biographies of mathematicians, world maps indicating birthplaces of mathematicians, and chronological lists of mathematicians by birthdate or date of death.
The Math Forum of Swarthmore College is not only the Mathematics Awareness Week Official Site, but it's also the home of Ask Dr. Math. Their Geometry Problem of the Week is updated every Monday. Knot a Braid of Links, abbreviated "Kabol," is maintained by the Canadian Mathematical Society. Each week Kabol features a website with substantial mathematical content, some featuring graphics and related software. It is updated every Tuesday.

Version of 3 Mar 1998.
This web page updates itself every week thanks to the webmasters at the sites mentioned above. Thanks is also extended to the originator of this project, Eric Schechter, of Vanderbilt University.
