Submitting Via Assignments

TO SUBMIT FILES VIA ASSIGNMENTS
The Blackboard Way

You must Submit, not Save, the File

Before uploading your file, you must save or rename it using the following system.

example : If your average student were naming/renaming the APA assignment, they would call it: studenta2APA1.doc

How to rename your files . . . .

= the filename.

Once you have the right filename....

Open Blackboard
Click Assignments
Find the name of the assignment you want to send (for example, APA Typing Assignment 1).
Click the link underneath that says: View/Complete Assignment (in the above example, you'd want to click the link that said: View/Complete Assignment: APA Typing Assignment 1)
Click Browse
IMPORTANT: In the pop up window, change files of type: to All Files (*.*)
Find and select the file you want to upload
Click Open
No Comments are needed, but you could just say hi!
Click Submit

****If you submit a file through "Assignments" on Blackboard incorrectly, please post on the Discussion Board before the deadline a notice of your error. Dr. Cannon or a TA will delete the file you submitted, allowing you to re-submit the assignment. Meanwhile, please add your assignment to the "Digital Dropbox" until you are able to re-submit.****
