Let's keep things simple and focus on what the study was really about.  Can Facebook be used to reflect the political orientation of females versus males (woman more liberal) and secondarily can we find evidence of who is more likely to express a political orientation (woman are more likely to vote and maybe more likely to express an opinion).  As discussed in lab, the literature provided (the big paper, that you don't have to read, and the data files) directs us pretty clearly to those two points - women are more liberal and they are more likely to vote.

You should, of course, tell the reader about the entire study.  Therefore, you should mention that data on other varibles were collected (you don't need to do the whole laundry list, but give them a hint).  BE SURE, however, to tell the reader that those data will not be reported on in the paper you're writing.  It's very annoying to be led on - in life, or in papers :)

APA wants to know basic demographic information about the folks that participate in research.  Take a look in the Manual and give the reader what APA asks.

The reader will expect the key male/female t-test comparison on the Liberal/Conservative scale that we created in the syntax that was posted on the Web.  A Chi Square looking at whether there's a male/female difference on expressing a political opinion will be expected to address the 2nd issue at hand.  You'll have to create a new variable for this Chi Square. On the relevelant original variable, not one calculated by us, treat responses 1-5, 7, and 8 as "Yes" in terms of expressing an opinion and either 6 or no response to the item as "No."  You may have to put on your thinking caps to create this new variable.  The term "Else" will be important.  I don't think you need any figures for this paper.

Watch how you describe the selection of the people we looked at in Facebook.  "Random" is a very dangerous word that has a very precise meaning.  Use it correctly in this paper.  Also remember that the reader will want to know about who collected these data as well.  Expose your weaknesses, but don't dwell on them.
