What's Hot and What's Not:

The Sensation of Temperature

How did u feel when you were in your bed this morning???.. . Probably warm, right?
How did you feel when you went outside this morning???. . . . Probably cool
How did you feel in the room right now??? . . . . Neither warm nor cool (neutral)?

These feelings of warm, cool, and neutral are feelings of temperature.

When we see you at Kid's Judge!, there will be three buckets laid out.

Bucket 1 will be filled with cool water
Bucket 2 will be filled with neutral (neither warm nor cool) water
Bucket 3 will be filled with warm water

You will put one hand in the cool water and the other hand in the warm water.
After leaving your hands in the buckets, you will put both hands in the middle one (the neutral one).

Now for the fun part. . . . . . . .

The hand that was in the cool water will now feel warm (ahhhh!) and the hand that was in the warm water will now feel cool (Brrrrrr!)

The temperature you feel in the middle bucket depends on what you felt in first two buckets!
