Substitution for Women's Studies Credit
Studies students may request permission from the Women's Studies Committee
to take a course not cross-listed with women's studies for women's studies
credit. The course must have sufficient women's studies content (as
determined by the Committee) and the student must do a significant project
or assignment on a women's studies topic.
the Committee prefers that such requests are submitted prior to the
semester in which the course is completed, it may consider requests during
the semester in which the course is completed. In exceptional cases the
Committee may consider a request after the course has been completed. If
such an ex post facto request is considered a review of the work done in
the course will be added to the procedure outlined below.
