The Weinberg Memorial Library Schedule for Spring Term 2007

INTERLIBRARY LOAN

The Interlibrary Loan department offers services to Faculty, Staff, and Students of the University of Scranton only. Other users of the Weinberg Memorial Library must use their own public, college or school library to fill their request. Most requests are filled within 2-3 weeks depending on availability of the material and the accuracy of the request. For students, there is a $1.50 charge per article.

To expediate your request:

Try using PALCI first for your book requests - it's faster than ILL since you place your request directly with the lending library.

When filling out a form, use the exact journal abbreviations from the citations - do not guess.

Make sure your citation is accurate: bibliographies at the end of articles are notorious for errors. Double - check your citation in a database like WorldCat (for books) or ArticleFirst (for articles).

Place your request directly from within WorldCat or ArticleFirst by clicking on the ILL icon at the top of the screen and filling out the web form.
