
- From The Library of The Central American University in San Salvador
- This past summer Reference Librarian, Joe Fennewald. accompanied other faculty and staff from the University of Scranton and Scranton Preparatory School to El Salvador. In preparation of their trip, Mr. Fennewald contacted Dr. Katherine Miller, Directora de Biblioteca Universidad Centroamericana. She expressed the need for books, compact disks and records, art slides, and a computer scanner. Through the generosity of the Friends of the Library, the Library Director and staff, and the University faculty, books, disks and slides were obtained.

- Computing Capability in the Pro Deo Room Enhanced
- Eight new PCs have been installed in the Pro Deo Room as a complement to the existing PC Lab. These units are connected to the Campus Network and function just as do the lab units. Eight additional carrels have been equipped with ResNet access so that students may bring their own ResNet software-equipped laptops and connect as they do from other campus locations.
