CHEW WANTS YOU ON OUR COPE/PEER EDUCATION TEAM
(PEER EDUCATOR APPLICATION FORM)

CHEW Wants You

Thanks for your interest in becoming a member of CHEW's peer education team, also known as COPE, Coalition of Peer Educators. Select one of the links on the right to complete and submit a peer educator application form for the group that interests you (each group has a different form). A CHEW staff member will contact you within three weeks after you submit a form.  For more information on the mission and programs for each of the three COPE groups, read their pages at COPE/Peer Education.

COPE members are interested in improving the health of The University of Scranton community and CHEW strives to select responsible, creative and dedicated students who want to work with others to meet this ongoing goal. Your completed peer educator application form is one way that CHEW staff can get to know you, and they help us to determine the students who will be interviewed for possible inclusion on our COPE teams.

If you are invited to join a COPE group, you and all of the other CHEW peers will attend training retreats that familiarize you with health topics vital to college students. You'll also learn the art of producing information and presentations that both educate and entertain. COPE groups meet regularly throughout the school year to plan presentations, awareness campaigns and events.

We hope that you will answer all of the questions completely and honestly. THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE WILL ONLY BE REVIEWED BY CHEW's PROFESSIONAL STAFF.
