Thunderbird - Message Filters
Do you spend a lot time organizing your Inbox? Consider creating a message filter that you can use to automatically or manually sort existing and incoming email by criteria that you define. Filters can automatically delete “Quarantined spam messages” and manually move read mail from specific senders to corresponding folders.

- Click on Next and then type a meaningful name for the filter “My Spam.”
- Now begin defining the criteria. Under the label “For Incoming messages that:” I selected “Match all of the following.”
- From the drop-down boxes below, I selected “Subject,” “begins with,” and typed “Quarantined spam messages” as the subject line without the quotes.

- Under the label “Perform these actions:” I selected “Move Message to”; its matching folder on RoyalMail. Save the rule but do not place a checkmark in the Enable box, this rule runs manually. Close the window.
