Royal Drive 7.2 - What's New

Royal Drive 7.2 includes several new features that increase user functionality. A few of my favorites are listed below.

Method of Sending Email
The option to select either Xytho Web-based Email Solution or use My Default Email Client (Thunderbird) for sending email notifications.

How to:

  1. Click on the link "Setup" in the main menu.
  2. On the tab "Settings" and under the label "Manage" click the link "Email Settings".
  3. To use Thunderbird, check the option "My Default Email Client" and then choose Thunderbird from the drop down box.
  4. Click "Apply".

Organizing Bookmarks
The ability to organize bookmarks within the Bookmark Manager by creating New  Bookmark folders.

How to:

  1. Click the link "Bookmarks" in the main menu and then "Manage Bookmarks".
  2. Click the button "New Bookmark Folder", name the folder and then click "Ok".
  3. Place a checkmark in the desired bookmark to move and the click the button "Move".
  4. Click the "Expand" button in the "Move Bookmark" window, and then browse to the Full Path of the file or folder.
  5. Click "Ok", and then "Exit when finished.

Restore a deleted file or folder that exists in your Trash

How to:

  1. "Double click" the Trash icon located in your "Home" folder.
  2. "Right-cllick" on the file or folder that you wish to restore, then select the option "Restore".

The file or folder is restored to the orginal location. If the orginal location no longer exists, or you no longer have access to the location, you are prompted to provide a new restore location.

Retrieve an Overwritten File

How to:

  1. "Double click" the Trash icon.
  2. "Double click" on the Overwritten Files sub-folder.
  3. "Right-cllick" on the file that you wish to restore.
  4. Select the option "Manage" -> "Versioning".
  5. Click on the earlier version to "Open" or "Save" the file. Or, check the "Copy" button to save a copy to a new location.
