The purpose of the Alumni iTower, located in the DeNaples Center is to inform the University community and guests of events taking place on The University of Scranton campus.

The guidelines set forth in this policy are designed to ensure that announcements are clear, accurate and professional.

1. All announcements are submitted and subject to approval through the Office of Student Affairs.
    

2. Each announcement must be submitted electronically as a PowerPoint (ppt.) attachment to itower@scranton.edu with the appropriate contact and display information.

2. All program specific announcements will be broadcast on the Alumni iTower no earlier than 7 days prior to the event.  Please indicate when the announcement should run with beginning and ending dates.
    

3. Other types of announcements that aren’t time sensitive will be posted for seven (7) days. This may be amended based on the amount of messages submitted.
    

5. As a general rule, announcements should be one slide only.  They should not be wordy or crowded as they will be displayed on a rotating basis for up to eight (8) seconds.
    

6. Accuracy of the message is the responsibility of the club, organization, department or individual making the submission. Content will not be edited for spelling or grammatical mistakes.
    

7. Messages submitted for immediate posting will be posted as soon as possible but may take 24-48 hours to appear.  Please plan accordingly.
    

8. Personal messages, personal items for sale or rent, non U of S activities, or announcements inconsistent with the University’s Mission and values will not be accepted.
