and accomplishments as an undergraduate.
The transcript records for a student:
Academic Awards: formal
academic recognition the student receives.
Athletic Awards:recognition
for exemplary participation on an intercollegiate sports team.
Campus Ministry: participation
in various activities and positions.
Clubs and Organizations:
sustained
participation in campus-based clubs and organizations.
Freshman Orientation:support
positions held in assisting with Freshman Orientation.
Honor Societies:memberships.
Peer Education: programs
in which a student participates as a peer educator.
Work Study Positions:

of positions held on campus.
Scholarships: scholarships
a student receives.
Sports: club,
intramural and varsity sports team participation.
Student Life Awards:awards
recognizing a student’s contributions to enhancing the quality of student
life.
Volunteer Service:sustained
volunteer service opportunities in which a student engages.
The Co-Curricular Development
Transcript is a valuable tool for preparing a resume and can be shared
with prospective employers and graduate or professional school admissions
committees. Also, it is a good document for a student to use in reviewing
his/her co-curricular activity goals throughout the college experience.
Many activities and accomplishments
are posted automatically on the Co-Curricular Development Transcript through
database management procedures designed for this purpose. Other transcript
postings are coordinated and recorded by various University offices (e.g.
Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Student
Affairs Office).
A student can review his/her
Co-Curricular Development Transcript and print a copy of it at any time
by accessing the appropriate link from the University of Scranton homepage.
Entries can be corrected by contacting the Office of Career Development
and Placement.
A student is responsible for
sending his/her Co-Curricular Development Transcript to any person, organization
or institution.
Yes. A student, who does not
want a Co-Curricular Development Transcript recorded for him/her, needs
to so inform the Office of Career Development and Placement.
Only the student and authorized
University personnel have access to the student’s Co-Curricular Development
Transcript.
