Virus Scan
RoyalPO, the University's post office computer, scans the attachments of all e-mail going out of, and coming into, the University's network. Systems Services receives a new anti-virus CD each month, which when installed, scans for any new viruses which may have been identified. Any virus is detected by a 'signature' which is unique to that virus.
