Events
Events is a web-based system for managing non-instructional events on campus.
To schedule an event in a University building or room, a request is submitted using this on line scheduling system. This system allows authorized users to 'Request' a new event, 'Query' approved events or 'Query' a location for availability of a building or room, or 'Change' an event. Using this system allows the user to 'Check Conflicts' against the new request with other existing events.
Aside from Building/Room, Date and Time of an event. This system also, includes the following information: Setup & Cleanup times, Services needed, Number attending among other items.
Once a request is submitted an email message is sent as 'Pending' to Coordinator Facilities Scheduling. This office reviews the request prior to 'Approval'.
