 Department of Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Program at The University of Scranton

QUICK FACTS

  • The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program will begin in the near future. (Read more about the DPT and prerequisites)

  • Freshmen admitted in the fall of 2004 and thereafter will earn an undergraduate degree in another major before advancing to the DPT program. (contact the Admissions Department)

  • Currently enrolled students at U of S can apply for admission to the DPT program on a competitive basis.

  • Applicantions from those who are not U of S students (i.e. transfer students) will be accepted for the DPT program on a competitive basis.

  • There is a Transition DPT (t-DPT) program for persons who are already physical therapists (masters and bachelors physical therapists). (Read more about the t-DPT)

  • The final Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) class is already enrolled, and will graduate in May 2008. (Read more about the MPT)
