The Department of Physical Therapy offers the Doctor of Physical Therapy program (DPT) for persons who wish to become physical therapists. Students accepted into the DPT must hold a baccalaureate degree with a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0. Applicants must have successfully completed all prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better. (Read more about the DPT program and prerequisites.) The DPT program begins in June of each year. Applications are now being accepted. Contact The College of Graduate and Continuing Education to apply.

The Department also offers a Transition Doctor of Physical Therapy program (tDPT) for persons who are already physical therapists. (Read more about the tDPT program).
