The Department of Physical Therapy offers the Doctor of Physical Therapy program (DPT) for persons who wish to become physical therapists. Students accepted into the DPT must hold a baccalaureate degree with a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0. Applicants must have successfully completed all prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better. (Read more about the DPT program and prerequisites.) The DPT program begins in June of each year. The Department also offers a Transition Doctor of Physical Therapy program (tDPT) for persons who are already physical therapists. (Read more about the tDPT program).
