Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Research Service (ORS) is to stimulate, develop, support and manage efforts to enhance research and scholarly pursuits of faculty, staff and students at the University of Scranton.  ORS activities are guided by the principles of freedom of inquiry, pursuit of wisdom, integrity and truth, and personal growth and development of the university community.  We foster excellence in sponsored projects by promoting best practices, policies, and procedures that ensure consistency and efficiency in our transactions with sponsors and partners.
