STUDY ABROAD FACTS

  • Students from nearly every major offered at the University have studied abroad
  • Students may study abroad for a semester, an academic year, a summer session, an intersession or on short term University faculty led programs
  • Students may take major course requirements as well as electives of all kinds abroad
  • Credits earned abroad will be applied to the University record as long as they have been approved and a minimum of a "C" grade has been earned
  • Students may pursue course work not offered at the University of Scranton
  • Students normally graduate on time
  • Financial aid as well as University granted monies may be used to study abroad
  • The cost of studying abroad is generally the same as it is to study in Scranton
  • Early planning leads to success- your first semester is not too early to start
