The land where the gods were born; the cradle of humanity and democracy; land of Homer , Parthenon, Aristotle and Alexander the Great; country that gives us the Olympic spirit and tradition; a beautiful, sunny country of the clean, azure sea, sparkling blue waters and endless sandy beaches; with warm, hospitable, people; where anyone who truly enjoys living feels at home. Everyone who calls himself a humanist should visit this magic land at least one time. Once you do it, you will come back for a second, third, fifth time, I know...I've been there, and I always dream of going back.
    (N. Petrovic)

    Tour Directors

Your first co-director is Dr. Njegos Petrovic, Professor of Foreign Languages and Comparative Literature. This will be his thirty-third year of teaching at the University of Scranton. He was born and raised in Serbia, Yugoslavia, educated in France, but chooses to work and pay his taxes in this free land off the United States. However, he is very proud of his Greek heritage. His maternal grandmother came from Greece. On this, his nineteenth visit to this marvelous country, he will share his love for it with you.

Your second co-director is Dr. Ioannis N. Kallianiotis, Associate Professor of International Finance and Public Policy. He has been teaching for ten years at the University of Scranton and taught for six years at other universities in the United States and Greece. He was born, raised, and educated in Greece (B.A. from Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki) and continued his graduate studies in the United States. He has worked in Greece for five years and has been in the United States for twenty years (studies and work). He has written extensively on Greek history, culture, education, and of course on economics, finance, the European Union, and business in general. Because of his origin, education, and unique cultural background, namely the Orthodox Culture, he can offer his students a very valuable educational experience.
