Joe Kraus came to the University of Scranton as a visiting lecturer for the 2004-05AY and has recently accepted a permanent tenure-track position with the department.  Joe has taught composition and writing courses and has led an honor's tutorial.  Joe is an Executive Member of The Philip Roth Society and is editor of the Philip Roth Society Newsletter.  Joe serves on the board of directors for Temple B’nai B’rith, Kingston, PA, as well as holding the position of Vice-president for the Seligman J. Strauss Lodge of B’nai B’rith, Wilkes-Barre, PA.  He also is a Founding Board Member, James Purdy Literary Society.
