Getting Started

This site is structured in a modular fashion. Each skill set contains sever al tutorials that in combination provide you with a deeper understanding of that topic.

To begin a tutorial, click on the corresponding highlighted image on the home page or one of the four images near the top of each page. This will take you to the home page for that particular skill set (i.e. Technology Skills). The home page for each skill set contains a general introduction and a summary of each tutorial available. To view the tutorial, cli ck on the image of that tutorial.

In a tutorial, click the Camera Icon Camera Icon to view a video for that section of the tutorial.

Throughout this site, some terms are underlined with gray dashes. If you move your mouse over these terms, you will see a short description of the terms.

Basic Requirements

The t utorials have been developed using Camtasia. They are best viewed with Internet Explorer (5.5 or newer version), Netscape (version 6 or newer), Mozilla, or FireFox. Some of the tutorials employ audio commentary, so your computer should have a sound card and speakers. The Macromedia Flash plug-in is also required to view the video tutorials.
