Some of the services offered include: demonstration and instruction on technology that is available; assistance in getting started using Blackboard and its advanced features; developing sophisticated web pages; creating E-Portfolios; enhancing PowerPoint presentations by incorporating sound and graphics; scanning; audio/video streaming services; and instruction on how to use technology on campus.

    To download the UofS template follow these instructions: RIGHT CLICK on the above link - Choose either "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" (depending on your browser). Choose the location where you want the file saved and click SAVE. The template is now on your computer and ready to be modified using either FrontPage or Dreamweaver.

Blackboard Assistance

Web Consulting
TechCons (student c onsultants) are available to assist faculty in developing, enhancing, or updating web pages and publishing course materials on the web.  It is not necessary for users to have experience with HTML coding. Training in Instructional Technologies
Training in general instructional technologies is offered throughout the year. Faculty classroom training is provided when n ew classrooms are mediated, at the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester, and whenever faculty request assistance using the technology in a room they are teaching in. To search for Mediated Classrooms by building, click here, or to search by equipment, click here. Portfolio and E-Portfolio Support
Faculty can get assistance in creating electronic portfolios. Capturing still pictures and video, transferring files from a digital or video camera to a computer, editing graphics and video, scanning, and saving everything to a server-based folder as well as burning it to a CD are all part of the E-Portfolio services offered.  To request assistance contact the CTLE Instructional Technology and Enrichment Specialist, Aileen McHale, at x4365 to make an appointment or visit the Technical Resource Lab (STT589).  Staff and student technical consultants are available to provide assistance.Top

Assistance with PowerPoint Presentations
The CTLE can provide assistance to faculty in creating/designing PowerPoint presentations. Assistance with the use of Other Multimedia Resources
Staff and student technical consultants are available to assist faculty in using multimedia resources that are available in the Instructional Lab in the CTLE such as scanners, digital cameras, video cameras, and color printers.
