Technical Requirements

Welcome to The University of Scranton's Technical Support website dedicated to web-based courses.   The website  details the technical requirements your computer needs to meet in order to have a good online experience in the course (s) you are taking.

Start with the Technical Requirements page, then move on to Checklist and Speed Test.

The Checklist page gives information about your browser, screen resolution, and provides several plug-ins necessary to open documents. 

The speed test details your Internet connection speed.  The faster your connection, the better your on line experience.

The University uses Blackboard to deliver online courses.  Blackboard is a Course Management System (CMS) that requires only an Internet connection.
