Instructions for faculty to
Override Courses From Being "Excluded" from Course Evaluations During a Non-Mandatory
Semester
Note:
Courses are automatically excluded from the Online Course
Evaluation System for Non-Mandatory semesters (even numbered
years). To "include" courses you wish to have
evaluated, you must follow the procedures below. Then
you will have access to rate your course objectives and add
additional questions.
Follow these procedures to override courses from being "excluded" from course evaluations:
- Log
into My.Scranton using your Username and Password.
- Click on the Employee tab.
- Click on Self Service (UIS).
- Click
on Faculty Services tab.
- At
the bottom of the screen, click Faculty Course
Evaluation Menu.
- Click
Override Non-Mandatory Exclusions.

Courses that have been automatically excluded from the
Online Evaluation System will appear.

Click the "checkbox" next to the course(s) you wish to
"include" in the Online Course Evaluation System.
- Click
the button Override Checked Exclusions.
- Click Return
to UIS.

Remember to
complete your "Faculty Objectives" and/or
"Additional Questions" by choosing them from the Faculty
Course Evaluation Menu.
