Overview:

These tutorials are meant to assist students, faculty, and departments regarding the Panuska College of Professional Studies' Service Learning Program. Each presentation is available in two formats: an audio presentation and a power point file. The audio presentation allows the observer to watch the tutorial and listen to a commentary. The power point file can be opened to run as a power point presentation and the slides, handouts and note pages can be printed.

This tutorial is for both STUDENTS and FACULTY. It introduces service learning, defines it, discusses why it is important within the context of a Jesuit institution, and finally gives some direction on how to get started.

Service Learning Assessment Tutorial
This brief tutorial is designed to assist FACULTY and University DEPARTMENTS to purposefully select a method of assessing an existing service learning program. Thought is given to connecting this process to current assessment requirements such as program review, accreditation, annual reports and maximizing resources to get the job done.
