Academic Advising Resources for CAS Faculty

Faculty Support Services

There may be times when students come to you for help in areas that are non-academic. Please refer students to services within the University that are equipped to deal with the students' problems. Offices are open from 8:30am to 4:30pm unless noted.

     

Counseling Center

235 McGurrin Hall

Refer students for help with personal problems, including relationship problems, transition into college, family dynamics, self-concept problems, drug and/or alcohol use, or anxiety and/or depression. All services are confidential. www.scranton.edu/counseling

Student Health Center

Mulberry St. & N. Webster

This is part of the Center for Health Education and Wellness (Roche Wellness Center). The Center is open 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 4:30pm Fridays. All services are confidential. www.scranton.edu/chew


Residence Life Office

Career Services

This office helps students with career planning. They provide individual career counseling and workshops in resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search techniques. www.scranton.edu/careers


Women's Center
